Wild Dog will Hit Big Screens on This Date, clarifies Nagarjuna

It was much publicised in the media couple of months back that King Nagarjuna Akkineni’s upcoming film ‘Wild Dog’ will be released directly on the OTT platform. However, the evergreen handsome hero has put an end to all these uncertainties by announcing the release date of the movie in theatres.

The ‘Manmadhudu’ actor announced that this movie will hit the screens on 2nd April 2021. At the same time, he also revealed that its trailer will be released on March 10.

Clarifying the news about Wild Dog’s release on OTT, Nag said ‘ The shooting was completed by November. Hence, the makers who were ambiguous over the audience footfall in theatres signed a deal with an OTT platform. However, seeing the encouraging headcount in cinema halls for the movies like ‘Krack’, they decided to go for a theatrical release.’ explained Nagarjuna.

Subsequently, the ‘Shiva’ star stated that ‘Wild Dog’ is made based on true terrorist incidents that took place in Hyderabad. Besides, he added that every Hyderabadi will relate to it. The Akkineni scion also made it clear that real artillery was used for an authentic feel in the movie.
