Venky’s Narappa is also Postponed!

‘Narappa’ starring Venkatesh in the lead is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Asuran’. Srikanth Addala directed the film in Telugu and its release is postponed in lieu of the global pandemic. Venky released a statement on his Twitter handle, announcing the update. He stated that a new release date will be announced once normalcy restores.

Venkatesh stated ‘ In lieu of the pandemic, #Narappa will not be releasing on May 14th. A new theatrical date will be announced once we overcome this unprecedented crisis. Stay safe Folded hands! #NarappaPostponed.’

Initially, Narappa was slated for a release on 14th May. However, it got postponed now. Not only Narappa, several big-ticket films like Megastar’s ‘Acharya’ have also gone back on their release dates.

The movie features Priyamani, Karthik Ratnam, Rao Ramesh, Rajeev Kanakala, and others. Apart from Narappa, Venkatesh recently wrapped up the shooting of Drishyam 2 and his F3 with director Anil Ravipudi is under production. This movie is slated for a release on 27th August.
