Megastar Chiranjeevi has graced the occasion of Sharwananad’s ‘Sreekaram’ pre-release event held on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Chiru revealed that Sharwanand almost grew up with his family as a dear friend of Ram Charan. And added that the ‘Janu’ actor is another Ram Charan for him.
Remembering his political days, Megastar recalled that he received maximum patronage from Khammam when he went to campaign in the town 12 years back after he floated the party. At the same time, Chiru shared the memories of how Sharwanand as a young boy starred in the famous ‘Thumbs Up’ commercial done by him in the early 2000s.
Furthermore, Chiranjeevi stated that he suggested Sharwa for the crucial role of a failure lover in ‘Shankardada MBBS’. The popular song ‘ Chaila Chaila…Chaila’ in the movie was to lift the spirits of the young lover who attempts suicide after facing rejection from his lover. It was a crazy chartbuster then.
Talking about Sreekaram, the Megastar commended director Kishore for picking the novel subject. Simultaneously, the ‘Acharya’ also explained how few high earning software professionals turning towards farming with the sole motive of attaining satisfaction in life.
Wishing the whole team of Sreekaram a success, Megastar Chiranjeevi hoped that the days should come when a farmer’s son should feel proud and privileged to emulate his father like the kids of a doctor, actor or a politician.
Sreekaram will hit the screens on 11th March 2021.
