Acclaimed director Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Indian 2’ is delayed for more than one reasons. The production house of the much awaited movie ‘Lyca Productions’ had filed a case against Shankar in Madras High Court asking him not to direct any other film till he completes Indian 2.
Recently, the court which heard the petition directed both the parties to come together and sort of the issue amicably rather than through the judgement. Now, the director has filed a counter petition in the court claiming several incidents that added to the delay.
In the petition, director Shankar stated that Kamal Haasan’s make-up allergy delayed the shoot initially apart from the accident on the sets and subsequent pandemic situation. Besides, the director also updated the court during previous hearing that actor Vivek’s portion also to be reshot due to his demise.
Moreover, Shankar clarified court that he was no way responsible for the incurred loss during the production. So, the Madras High Court has adjourned the case to 4th June 2021.
Meanwhile, there is a buzz that Kamal Haasan might step in to resolve the issue to keep the production of ‘Indian 2’ back on track. The actor is said to be planning to resume shoot for his upcoming film ‘Vikram’ as well after his election debacle.
