The beautiful Kannada lass, Rashmika Mandanna has jumped into the top league within no time in Tollywood. There is news doing rounds for a few months about her debut in Bollywood. Finally, it has become official now.
Rashmika has signed a Hindi film starring Siddarth Malhotra. This movie which is inspired by true events that happened in the 1970s is titled ‘Mission Manju’. Shantanu Bagchi will be making his debut as a director through this periodic espionage thriller.
Filmmaker Ronnie Screwvala who is known for bankrolling movies like “Uri: The Surgical Strike” and “The Sky is Pink” has joined Amar Butala and Garima Mehta to produce “Mission Manju”.
Backdrop set in Pakistan, the movie revolves around one of the most daring missions and it pays homage to the sacrifices of unsung heroes.
On this occasion, Rashmika expressed that she is very much excited about her Bollywood debut. ‘ I loved Mission Manju’s script which is beautifully written and I am grateful to the makers for offering me such a wonderful role.’ said Mandanna.
Besides, she also expressed her joy over reaching out to new audiences in the Hindi belt.
