Pawan Kalyan- Rana’s ‘AK’ Telugu Remake Launched!

Keeping all the speculations to rest, Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s multi starrer is launched today. It is the remake of the Malayalam super hit movie ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. Pruthviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon starred in the original.

Saagar K Chandra will direct this movie while Suryadevara Naga Vamsi produces this crazy combo under Sithara Entertainments. The formal launch of this movie is completed with a pooja ceremony today morning. The regular shooting will continue from January.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan sounded the clap for the muhurat shot on the idols of god and director Trivikram Srinivas switched on the camera. S. Radha Krishna of Harika and Hassine Creations handed over the script to director Saagar Chandra during the launching event.

Star producer Dil Raju also graced the opening ceremony to wish the team. Besides, several cine people also took part in the event.

Earlier, Sithara Entertainments welcomed Rana Daggubati on board, releasing a video. Sharing his happiness, the Bhalladeva tweeted ‘Another Journey begins!! What joy this is, been able to work with so many stars across industries!! And now joining the coolest back home Our very own    Power ⭐️ @PawanKalyan !! Can’t wait thank you @SitharaEnts!!’.

This film revolves around the ego tussle between an influential ex-Havaldar and a principled police officer. It is learned that Pawan Kalyan plays that matured policeman’s role, while Rana plays the wealthy ex-Havaldar.

The female cast and the title are yet to be finalized and Thaman is roped in to score the music.
