Living Alone during Lockdown was Liberating: Nithya Menen

Talented actress Nithya Menen who is popular in south India has reached the global audience as well with the release of Breathe: Into the Shadows on Amazon Prime. Now, she is all set to debut in the Telugu web series ‘Kumari Srimati’ which will also be released on the same OTT platform.

After enjoying a long break forced by the pandemic, Nithya started working for Vijay Sethupathi’s Malayalam film 19(1)(a). Indhu VS is making a debut as a director through this movie. The flamboyant actress will be playing the role of a small-town girl who ends up finding a few important documents.

Nithya Menen said that she was thrilled to work with Vijay Sethupathi. At the moment, she is also having few Telugu films on hand along with a Tamil movie starring Dhanush. Sharing her lockdown experience, the open-minded girl stated that she enjoyed every moment of it.

‘Many might have experienced mental health issues due to the uncertainty of life created by the pandemic. But I enjoyed my own company doing different things and it worked out so brilliantly for me as few big changes happened personally.’ Said the actress.

Nithya’s parents live in Bangalore but she stays alone in the same city. The ‘Ala Modhalaindhi’ actress explained that she loves to stay in a house with lush green surroundings and shared that she had a blast of time relaxing on the bed listening to the chirps of birds in the absence of vehicle sounds.

Stating that living alone is so liberating, Miss Menen added that she learned a lot of new things in the lockdown along with doing online courses and learning Kathak.
