‘Krack’ promises a turning point in Ravi Teja’s career and it did good business in spite of the pandemic. Sources said that this movie made INR 42 Cr even before its release through all forms of rights which include theatrical and non-theatrical rights.
Excluding the remuneration of ‘Mass Maharaja’, the film is made with a budget of INR 30 Cr. The hurdles due to the pandemic and also the grand vision of director Gopichand Malineni along with its large canvas spiked the overall budget. However, it is learned that producer Tagore Madhu got good returns and profits.
‘Krack’ was sold for INR 17 Cr in Telugu states. The Hindi dubbing rights fetched it another 11 Cr. Besides, it got INR 7 Cr for an OTT release on AHA and 6 Cr more in the form of digital rights from Star Maa.
Moreover, it will also make some money from other areas as well. Importantly, hero Ravi Teja enjoys a share in the profits as a part of his remuneration.
Above all, ‘Krack’ hit the screens today and it is getting rave reviews from all sections.
