Karan Johar Promises New Age Cinema Introducing 14 Young Directors

Karan Johar, the scion of Yash Johar has proved himself that he is much more efficient than his father when it comes to ticking the business of the movies in Bollywood through Dharma Productions. This production house has churned out some of the iconic movies and most of them were when the young Johar turned a director with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ that released in the late 90s.

Dharma Productions is behind several iconic films in Bollywood for over four decades. Now, Karan Johar has decided to revamp the production house with young blood. Accordingly, the Kabhie Kushi Kabhie Gham director has announced that 14 new directors will be joining Dharma Productions.

Posting a video on social media, Karan wrote ‘ Over the last four decades, #DharmaProductions has groomed over 20 directors who have honed their skill set over the years to create magic on the big screen, and now #TeamDharma is all set to usher in a new age of cinema with 14 young and talented storytellers joining the Dharma Productions.

Amazingly, he introduced all the 14 directors through a stylish photoshoot in the video. Karan who always aspires to be young in thinking, also conveyed that his new roster of directors is ready for both theatrical as well as digital releases.

At the same time, he hoped that their modern perspective will bring in a new era of content in cinema.
