Jr NTR has given an interview to the ‘Deadline’ and he spoke about the pandemic experience , ‘RRR’ and his upcoming projects. NTR is right now in home quarantine after being tested positive for Covid 19 along with his family members. He gave this interview over the phone.
About the pandemic experience, NTR stated that it is tough for him to stay at home as he like to be busy 365 days n a year as a worckhalic since he started as a leading man in movies at the age of 17. At the same time, he said that it has given an opportunity to spend a quality time with his lovely kids, mum, wife, and cousins.
About the RRR, the Young Tiger clarified that it was a working title but Rajamouli had to come up with the abbreviation Rise, Roar and Revolt after it became so famous. NTR said that ‘Triple R’ journey started in 2018 and clarified that they technically shot for about eight months being stuck with the pandemic for about nine months in between. ‘The action sequences leave the people flabbergasted.’ said Tarak.
About the pandemic impact on movie’s budget and story, NTR clarified that nothing has changed except the pace they shot. ‘We worked days and nights to rush through the shoot before the pandemic impact was felt again.’ added the actor.
At the same time, Tarak stated that ‘RRR’ is made for big screens as it can be enjoyed as a community on a large screen and squashed away the option of releasing it on OTT. And expressed confidence that ‘RRR’ will open the gates for cinemas across the country once it is released after normalcy restores.
Jr NTR revealed that he was 71 before ‘RRR’ for another movie and had to put on nine Kilos more to shoot for the magnum-opus movie. ‘I had gone through hectic training for 18 months to achieve right physical appearance for my role and it was really tough’ said NTR.
About his upcoming projects, the dynamic actor has stated that his next project will be with Koratala Siva that will hit the floors after ‘RRR’ and then it will be followed by KGF director Prashant Neel’s movie.
