Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum garnered rave reviews as well as success at the box office and OTT. The story revolves around the conflict between an influential Koshy Kurian and Sub-Inspector of Police, Ayyappan Nair. Pruthviraj Sukumaran played Kurian while Biju Menon essayed the role of the police. The performances of these actors were top class and director Sachy excelled in depicting the ego tussle between them on the screen.
There was much talk about its remake in Telugu since the times it created waves on the OTT platform. Many combinations were floated online. Finally, Pawan Kalyan and Rana are finalized to play the lead roles in the movie.
Appatlo Okadundevadu fame Sagar K Chandra will helm this project. It is expected that Pawan Kalyan plays the Nair’s role while Rana Daggubati fit into the shoes of Pruthviraj Sukumaran. Certainly, the clash between Pawan and Rana on-screen will set the cash registers ringing at the box office once the movie is released.
Suryadevara Naga Vamsi will bankroll this crazy multi-starrer while PDV Prasad presents the movie under Sithara Entertainments. S Thaman will score the music for the film. It is said that this Production No 12 will be formally launched with muhurat shot on Monday. The regular shoot and the heroines who share the screen with the stars are yet to be confirmed.
And also, the producers released a video welcoming Rana on board captioning ‘Welcome aboard the Mighty Bhalladeva’.
