‘Ishq: Not a Love Story’ Postponed!

‘Ishq: Not a Love Story’ which is slated for a release on 23rd April 2021 is postponed following the steep rise of second wave Covid cases in Telugu states. Starring Teja Sajja and wink beauty Priya Prakash Varrier, the movie is directed by SS Raju under Mega Super Good Films banner.

‘Ishq’ is a remake of Malayalam’s movie with the same name featuring Shane Nigam, Ann Sheetal, and Shine Thomas Chacko in the lead roles. Several big-ticket movies like Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’ , Rana’s ‘Virata Parvam’ and Nani’s ‘Tuck Jagadish’ were postponed already due to the pandemic. And movies like ‘Ishq’ which wanted to cash in on the exit of big releases from April had to be postponed due to the severity of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Theatres Association also announced shut down of cinema halls from 21st April in Telangana. On the other hand, the audience are also in panic mode to toe to theatres to watch a movie during these tough times.

So, the makers are left with no other choice to take the inevitable decision.
