Director Shankar is known for making spectacular visual wonders on the Indian silver screen for about three decades. But these days, controversies and court cases are following this ace director. Lyca Productions, the production house of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 had filed a case in Madra High Court to stop Shankar direct any other films before completing their film.

The court had heard both parties and advised them to sort out among themselves to attain an amicable solution. Besides, it also adjourned the case to April 28. Apart from Covid 19 and Kamal’s political entry, Indian 2 is delayed for several reasons.

The makers have pushed the blame on the director for not completing the movie as per the schedule by March 2020. Now, it is learned that Shankar told the court that he had to reshoot the scenes of demised actor Vivek with another actor.

Reports say that the court has come to the conclusion that the judgement on this case will not bring an amicable solution. Hence, the court has opined that it is better for both the parties to resolve the issue among themselves instead of through a court’s order or judgement.
