The pandemic has brought down everything to a standstill. Especially, the Telugu audience who love to celebrate the new releases every Friday in a big way missed out a lot. Even the cinema fraternity suffered huge losses and they were very apprehensive of the footfall even if the theatres are opened.
Amid this scenario, the Sankranti festival broke all the fears and myths. The audience thronged the theatres to watch all the movies released for the festive season. Four movies ‘Krack’, ‘Red’, ‘Master’, and ‘Alludu Adhurs’ hit the screens.
Out of these, Ravi Teja’s ‘Krack’ is emerging as a clear winner. Sources say that there is a huge demand for its remake rights in Hindi as well as in Tamil. It is learned that there is stiff competition among the big banners of Bollywood to bag the rights of director Gopichand Malineni’s action entertainer.
Shruti Haasan played the female lead in this cranky cop story. Samuthirakani and Varalakshmi Sharat Kumar played key roles as antagonists in the movie. SS Thaman scored thumping music for the film.
Rumors are also doing rounds that Sonu Sood might step into the shoes of Ravi Teja in Krack’s Hindi remake. So, let’s wait to know who wins the race in bagging this commercial entertainer.
