Rana Daggubati’s Aranya trailer is released marking World’s Forest Day on 3rd March. And it instantly got a roaring response from the netizens. The trilingual film is titled ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ in Hindi and ‘Kaadan’ in Tamil. Dealing with the contemporary issue of forest lands encroachment and crony capitalism, Prabhu Solomon directed this film.

Rana plays Bandev who takes the fight against the system backing the forest land encroachments in Kaziranga’s elephant corridor. The 3-minute long trailer showcases Rana taking on powerful forces behind deforestation and wages a war against them.

Aranya is said to be inspired by the true-life incidents of environmental activists like Jadav Payeng. Belonging to an Assamese tribe, Payeng was accorded with Padma Shri in 2015 for turning about 1500 acres of barren land into a forest.

Above all, the Bahubali actor worked out of his skins to perform the 50-year-old jungle man in Aranya. The thought-provoking subject, high technical values and impeccable visuals of nature are garnering much interest in the film among the audience to watch it in theatres.

Aranya will hit the screens on the 26th of March 2021.
