Covid is devastating the country and may celebrities are loosing their lives since the past few days. Tollywood director Kumar Vatti who made his directorial debut with ‘Maa Abbayi’ has passed away on Thursday due to Coronavirus. He was 39 and assisted Parasuram in several films such as ‘Yuvatha’, ‘Anjaneyulu’, ‘Sarocharu’ and so on.
Kumar Vatti decided to cast Sree Vishnu as a hero after he came in contact with him. ‘Maa Abbayi’ featured Sree Vishnu and Chitra Shukla in the lead. Balaga Prakash Rao produced the film under the Vennela Creations banner.
He was born in Narasannapeta in Andhra Pradesh. Kumar was assisting Parasuram for his latest film Sarkaru Vaari Paata also. He was hospitalized after getting contracted with the virus and succumbed to death.
Many in the TFI are shocked with his death and directors like Venu Udugula are condoling the director’s demise.
