Mega Producer Allu Aravind hinted out on the occasion of Sankranti that the Telugu OTT platform ‘AHA’ will be buying more content. Accordingly, the producers bagged Mass Maharaja’s recently released ‘Krack’.
Simultaneously, sources say that ‘AHA’ also got the rights to Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film ‘Love Story’. Furthermore, Allu Aravind is ready to invest more to stream more films on the Telugu OTT platform.
The cine lovers are gradually moving out to watch movies on the big screens only recently. Still, they do not completely prefer to risk their health visiting the crowded cinema halls. In this scenario, it will help AHA to increase its subscriptions if quality and quantity are maintained with regard to the content.
Besides, Tollywood also lost a big chunk of the overseas market especially in the US due to the pandemic. So, the small and medium-range films will find this an opportunity to make it up for the shrunken market at least for the time being.
So, Allu Aravind coming forward to compete with the established OTT Platforms Netflix, Prime Video and Hotstar is good news for the makers as well as the audience.
