Director Nagesh Kukunoor paved the way for new-age filmmakers through ‘Hyderabad Blues’ film in the 1990s. After making a few interesting films like ‘Dor’ and ‘Iqbal’ in Bollywood, the director is greeting Tollywood once again with his upcoming film, ‘Good Luck Sakshi’.
Starring Keerthy Suresh, Aadhi Pinishetty and Jagapathi Babu, the movie is being made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The makers have wrapped up the shooting of this much-anticipated film in all these three languages. On the occasion, the makers have announced its release date. Accordingly, Good Luck Sakhi will hit the screens on 3rd June 2021.
Sharing the announcement on Twitter, Keerthy Suresh wrote ‘ Here’s the announcement you’ve been waiting for! #GoodLuckSakhi is coming to theatres on 3rd June! Save the date!’
The makers also unveiled a new poster along with the release date announcement. In the poster, Keerthy is shown holding a gun while Jagapathi Babu looks intense and Aadhi wearing a smile on his face.
Aadhi is said to be playing the role of a theatre artist and Jagapathi Babu plays a coach. Devi Sri Prasad scored the music for this sports drama and Chirantan Das cranked the camera. Sudheer Chandra Padiri produced this female-oriented film.
