Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh paired for the first time on screen for Rang De. The entertaining song and promos garnered huge interest in the movie. Venky Atluri’s film has hit the screens on Friday.
Arjun (Nithiin) and Anupama (Keerthy Suresh) are neighbours and they never get along well since their childhood. Moreover, Anu always performs better in studies and it puts Arjun who is a dumbo in academics feel offended over repeated comparisons with her. So, he never likes the girl-next-door.
However, Arjun finishes engineering and plans to move out for further studies in a foreign country just to stay out of Anu.
But, fate had other plans for them and they end up getting married to each other. And they move to Dubai. What happens in Anu and Arjun’s married life unfolds the rest of the story.
Venky Atluri is known for making emotional love sagas on screen. But this time, he chose to offer more entertainment keeping the emotional connection intact at the end. The first half is entertaining with a few good comedy scenes and the second half takes an emotional turn. Eventually, he did a good job of keeping the balance. The production values are spellbinding. As always, PC Sri Ram’s exquisite camera work speaks for itself. Devi Sri Prasad’s gave good music for songs and a decent background score.
Nithiin looked effortless in performing his role as he did a similar kind of roles in many films. He nailed his character and Keerthy Suresh looks refreshing in a lighter-vein role. Especially, her talent as an actress comes out when she performs emotional scenes. Brahmaji and Vennela Kishore will definitely offer a laughing riot. Besides, other actors Naresh, Rohini, Suhas, and Abhinav Gomatam also played their part.
